One day while I was at work (My uncle's autobodyshop) I was waiting for him to get off the phone and I saw some Crest rubberized paint cans. We use it for undercoat for cars and trucks. I got the idea of painting a few quad parts with it. I knew that the almost 10 year old paint my a-arms was SHOT. There was rust, chips, nicks, just about any thing you can think of. So that night I took them off and brought them in the following weekend. I sanded them with 400 grit sand paper to scuff the remaining paint and removed the rust. The next day I had my uncle lay the paint down. It turned out AWESOME, when people came in they asked if he did powdercoating, in person it looks like a flat black winkle! The weekend after that he painted my footpegs and grab bar, and he painted a set of rear wheels last weekend. I really thought this would get a scratch and peal, but I have only found a two little spots from were. And it has about 7 hours on it. I have to say this is one best mods I have done on my quad. I am going to end this with a few pictures.:cool:

before pic Yes i usally have My front plastic on but I cracked my gas tank covers during the winter so I have to wait to put the front plastic on till I get my new peices.
