Has anyone ever made a snorkal(spelling) for there 400ex ?

well.. im sure people have made snorkels for there 400.. but why in gods name would you want to do it to a EX .. thats why they have UTILITY QUADS out there, so you can submerge it and still get through it..

you have obviously never gotten stuck with your 400 lol... anywhere that would require a snorkel, its almost a prerequsite to have a 4x4..

the 400ex comes w/ a snorkel from the factory. ever look under your gas tank?

Oh i have got it stuck many times, I don't have the money for a 4x4 so i deal with what i got, but where i ride, the fresh water is just deep enough to suck in water in the intake tub under the gas tank and into the airbox, but i don't get stuck in the water.

But even we i fly down trails and hit the water puddles, it still sucks in through the intake thats under the gas tank.

Is what i want to do is extend that intake tub to the handle bars.

^^you obvisously arent going fast. i run no lid and i just kinda skip across the top of the water when im goin fast.....go to slow and you get soaked. but uh, you could always ducktape the opening of the intake tube so only half of it is open.:confused:

i have a 2004 400ex and i basicly have the same problem i get stuck about every mud puddle there is so i put these dirt devils on in the back and i plow about through everything there is well most the time

pfffffffffffffff..snorkel ?! u dont need it man, just dont slow down thru them puddels :devil:
