Become a Sell Out???

i'm going through kind of a money crisis, i actually have some now. (yes that's a crisis for me) i HAD decided to put 2200 more into my R which i paid 3k for. I was gonna put on: (unspecified brands as of now on a's and swing) a-arms, stock length swing, steering stem/non vibe clamp, Elka shocks all around. Now, HERES the problem, should i 1) sell my '86 r and buy one with all the stuff i want already on it to try and save $ 2) sell my r and get a 400ex or 440ex with all i want on it OR 3) keep my r because i already know how reliable it is and that there are no internal problems and all that has already been done to it, and it's "wreck" record, and bite the bullet and out the 2k. well LMK. oh btw pics of it are at : http://250r.mypicgallery.com

first off you are never gunna find an R that is EXACTLY what you want already prebuilt. second if you sell yur R and buy a 400EX sumone will find out where you live, drive down there, and SMACK you. which leaves us with modding yur current R into whatever you want it to be. that way you know how its done, and its what you want.
