One of my friends wants to race my stock 400 with his prarie 700, he has a hmf slip on and thats it..who do you guys think will win?

prairie. they are fast stock and with the slip on he should pull you. if you had a pipe it would be diff.

ive killed a prairie 650, i dont think a 700 would be that much faster. are you running stock gearing and how long of a drag is it?

It's light pole to light pole, not sure on exactly how far, but after one light pole to light pole, he wants to run them 3 light poles length, but I should have a pipe before we drag race.

depends if its in the mud or on pavement if its in mud when you get in front of him just spin mud all over so he cant get by you on pavemnt you should have no problem

HAHAHA this is funny u guys are talking about Praries when this is a 400ex section. i think the 650 will take u my buddys dad has a 650 they are qiuk

a piped 700 would keep up with my piped raptor till i hit mid 2nd then i would pull away quite quickly

he will get you on the start but when you hit 3rd i think you will start to pull ahead

dad has a 700 and will accelerate just a little slower than my stock ex. top i would win. with a pipe it'll be diff.

well, I can speak out of experience...

Last year, when my 400ex was TOTALLY stock I drag raced a 650 at first, and beat hiim... i took him off the line and held the lead the entire way... this guy weighs in at about 400 lbs that I raced, pretty hefty... .so he then let my friend who is about 180lbs race his 650 against me again and I beat him the just as bad. Then another guy that was with us, who happens to have a 700 praire decided to drag race me... this guy is 6'2 about and 200 lbs... and I took him off the line then when we both hit top speed we were about at the same speed. All this to say..... a stock 400ex can take a 650 and be about even with a 700. But with my mods now i could win even more. :devil:

With my 416ex, I killed a 700 prarie with a clutch kit and a pipe.

this reminds me of the time this winter i was on a snowmobile ride and one of my dads buddie said his brute force arctic vat or whatever would smoke my 440 on the tar and on the trail..

i just laughed at him, was that a smart thing to do? hahhaa
