155 dyno jet is bigger or smaller than a 155 kehein jet?

And when installing a dyno jet kit, how important is it to use their needle? What is the difference?

Dyno jets are bigger than factory jets. From their website, here is their jetting guidelines for a 400EX. http://www.dynojet.com/pdf/Q107.001.pdf They seem to be right on. With the mods in my sig on my 400EX, I am running a 146 DJ, which is exactly what they recommend. Make sure you adjust the Fuel Mixture Screw to 3.5 turns out from lightly seated, as they recommend. Hope that helps.

I believe the DJ needle has a different taper to it, and is made to fit their jets. And is has more positions than a factory needle.
