Guys I bought a hbomb/Bombsquad graphics kit...a complete wast of $130...graphics themselves are cool...but when put on the bike looks nothing like the picture shows...there's not even a nose graphic...anyway end of my rant...I'm having problems putting the seat cover on...1)the piece of crap already ripped on me while I was trying to put it on...but my main problem is I have it stretched across the front, back & middle...but when I go to working my way around the front get it as tight as I can get it...after I'm done I have a big air bubble in the center..it's not a small wrinkle it's a big area that isn't even touching the seat...any ideas on what I can do? I had a N-style graphics kit before..and I put the seat cover on over top of the fatory seat cover...and it went on very easy compared to this..anyway any and all help would be appreciated...I'll try anything...the seat cover already looks like swiss cheese from all the staples :)

Thanks,
Jeffrey

sounds like the seat foam. if it is old or worn it won't match up right because of depressions. new foam usually fixes this

or

are you sure you have the correct kit for you quad (model/year)?

It's for a 2000 400ex...and I'm sure it's the right kit...the graphics fit good...

I believe it's the original seat foam...the thing that amazed me was the fact that the N-style kit fit so well last year...

I recommend to take it to a local upholstry shop.
I tried putting mine on by myself and they were a lil tight because its an gripper seat cover so it doesnt stretch that easy.

Sounds like your sides need to be stretched a little tighter. You might also try removing the factory seat cover too.

if its a full gripper cover, maybe your foam is shot. if its a cover with graphics panel on the sides, there a little more diff to install, i usually put mine in the sun for a little while and warm it up, it helps alot with a cover similar to a factory fx style. put in the sun or under the heater of a vehicle. i would remove the original though, could also be the reason for the gap.

i just installed mine two days ago and it went on fine. It took a couple tries, but I finally got it. I installed the nstyle all trac2 cover. It's a full gripper cover. I used contact cement on the front where you're having the problem. I don't know if I really needed it, but I tried it and it worked. it helps to have a blowdrier or a heat gun. just be careful not to melt the cover though.
