oil pump ?

ive got the bike in my sig. and am wondering if the bike should pump oil when its just cranking over without starting?or does it need to be going a certain rpm to get the pressure up. Ive got the extra oil cooler and took the top hose off of the valve cover and cranked it and got no oil out of the line,.anybody have any info for me??thanks....

all i can tell younis there is a place on the head or cylinder to check for oil pressure i will have to get my service manuall out and check where it is

when cranking with the starter, it can take a while, like 10-20 seconds, to see oil flow. even longer if its been sitting a while or had an oil change, or you put on a cooler. just keep cranking it until you see flow.
