a uni is a nice filter but still is a foam style filter. a k&n is a mesh type of filter and is ment for a hi-flow of air. personally i like k&n filters i had one on my old bike and my dads got one and they are nice i like them. if i got a new filter it would be a k&n deffently.

The K&N will flow better, but the UNI will filter more crap and can protect your engine a little better. I guess it also depends on what kind of environment you are in. Is it hard pack, sand...basically how dusty is it ? If it's real dusty I Run a UNI and if it's not, I sometimes run a K&N . They are both good filters.

Oh, I would suggest if you get a K&N to also get an outerwear for it.

k&n would be your best beat. lots of flow and you will prabally need to rejet.
