What is the best skidplate for mx? I need something tough, looks good, and does not take alot away from ground cleanence.

prm makes a mx skid and has a cut away for linkage and what not

AC thats wat i run on my 400, biggest thing is get something that the bolts that u mount it to the frame with are recessed into the skid plate and not flush so that it wont rip the heads of the bolts off whenever u go up faces of jumps and u bottom out and wat not but id get an AC there good. and fairly reasonable on price

I have used AC and PRM, They are both great skid plates for MX!!

Yes, but most of the time MXers don't run swingarm skidplates. I know I used to run mine, and hated it, so I took it off. Believe me, you're not gonna be running over any hairy rocks or trees in a MX race.

A chassis skid plate is all you really need for MX. It helps the most when casing jumps and flat landing by protecting your virgin frame tubes. As for myself, I prefer AC - cheap and effective.
