LRD,alien,Big Gun

i want to know, what would be the best pipe for my bike. i have a 2005 raptor 660r. i am stuck between the dmc alien, big gun evo, and the LRD. i went to the LRD website and it said with the full system it would add 24 horse power at 8,000 rpm. thats a lot for a pipe so i am not shure if i bealvie it or not. the other 2 i have herd that they are pretty good and i want my bike to sound really good, soo any info that any 1 can give me it would be good,also no mater what pipe i get it will be a full system with jetting and the k&n proflow powerlid.

I don't believe any pipe will add 24 horse, even with a filter and jets. When you are dealing with 20 to start with, its hard to get a 100 percent increase. Pipes are a lot personnal preference as far as sond and looks, several are just as good as the others are, no matter what they claim.

whatever the case the LRD makes good gains on a raptor, but you might also look at Yoshimura.

I agree with johnny. but it depends on what kind of riding you are going to be doing. the sparks pipe has excelent top end and will shoot fire out the silencer when the quad backfires(it did it on my friends raptor and my other friends yfz, so i know it isnt just the quad). the lrd is an excelent pipe for low end. my friend also had that on his raptor. he has had about three other pipes and he says he likes the lrd best for trails and the sparks more for dragging.

well if your looking for the most hp increase,then the Graydon Proline made the most hp for a raptor.(47 and some change).no pipe will give you 24hp,especially when the raptor did almost 37 stock:(
