How hard is it to change a steering stem?

I just got a new +2 steering stem and was wondering, what do I need to do to remove the old one? Does the front plastic have to come off, or can I just take the nose piece off and remove it that way? Is there a trick to doing this? thanks

Just take the noise peace off. It is not that hard. The hardest part is getting the end of the steam throw all of the wires. You need to turn the steam as you pull it out. I set my 450 up on the grab bar when I changed my steam! It not hard you can do it!!

It is soooo hard I wouldn't even attempt such a thing. :rolleyes: U don't know unless you do it, dive head first it's the only way.
