what's better...stock length, or -1

I am in the market for a used swing arm. i found a nice one, but it's a Walsh -1''. is it bad to have a swingarm that is an inch shorter than stock. I race motocross on an 96 250r if that helps. thanks alot.

What year is the 250r? 86, 87, 88, or 89? If it`s a 86 or 87 you will be fine with a -1 Swingarm, but if it`s a 88 or 89 you want to keeo it the Stock Length unless you are TT Racing.

Assuming that you typed a 9 instead of an 8, get the -1. Walsh is sweet.

I`m not sure what to do. I am starting to hear some Bad things about Elka. Plus Gabe has Elka`s and PEP`s and he said the Elka`s don`t even Compare. If the PEP`s are that much better I would rather Wait for them.

Why would they race -1?? Most have an upgraded engine and i don't think they want to be wheeling that much. By the way, Walsh doesn't make suspension, they make fram parts, and ITP Tomorrows tries???

Dude,suspension isn't just shocks,it the componetes that goes with it, and sry for the miss spelling.

I seen WarriorMan had so "quotes" for his stuff,so i made soome up too.

Alos,yes they do make the shorter,cause you get better traction,cause all your weights on the rear. I may be wrong,puyt thats what i seen and read. And i don't think ATV sport lies to you.
