I have tripple rate works, and I want to get the springs off to send them to pappy, I wanted to wait till it's done that way I would have more money for other parts, but I'm tired of them not going with the rest of the quad. I've looked at them and can't figure out how to get the springs off. Please help.

not sure if it's the same with yours, but when i disassembled my works 300ex shocks, i had to use a spring compressor

and a question for pappy if ya see it. is there anything different about pc'ing shock springs? i kinda wanna do mine, but i'm not sure how to get in the small spots w/out getting too much everywhere else.

loosen the ride height, turn the shocks upsidedown, there will be a collar on the bottom that is kinda like a C shape, take it off and the springs will come off. there may be a cup-like collar and then two halfes will come out. you'll see when you turn the shock upsidedown

I just take ALL the pre-load out, and the springs are loose enough to take off the spring retainer on the bottom.

I'm sure you've seen it too. pappy did his a different color though, looks like regular powder to me. I'm interested too.
