View Full Version : Change shock color or not?

Heres a pic of my rear shock. The rezzie is gonna get polished, but I'm thinking I want to paint the rest black. By rest I mean whats green. I like this green color, it goes alright with the rest of the quad, but I'm not shure if it's what I want.

i kinda like it but if you do decide to strip it and go to paint it polish a spot first then stick it back on i think the shock would look cool totally polished and chrome spring you can never have too much bling!!!:cool:

i would paint it. it doesn't look like it really goes with the color scheme

I think the painted parts on the shock are actualy steel. I noticed some minor rust on the lower part. But even if it is aluminum I don't think I want to polish it because I got alot of bling on the rear there. Polished swingarm, pipe, linkage, chrome spring. I don't want it looking too gaudy.

just get some shock covers. i got mine on ebay brand new 25 bucks shipped.

I really can't stand shock covers. I like how the shock looks with the spring and everything, and I have a chrome spring on there, I deffinatley don't want to hide that. And besides everything on this quad just about is shinny, shock cover no. But thaks for the sugestion.

Don't worry, They will get sent to pappy soon for P/C main sping same color as the frame, and the little ones black then gold.
