I know I know, alot of you will have problems with answering this question. Youll say its people like you who give quading a bad name. But noise is not an issue where I live, and I enjoy the deep throaty exhaust sound. THe louder the better. Please post your opinion.

i know one thing, you are not going to get much louder than a kerker exhuast.. those things are INSANELY loud..

my quad has that, its pretty loud, I doubt he wants to spend $400? for it. It would be the best, but very loud and the most expensive..

i have a DG rcm exhaust you can see it here http://www.dgperf.com/ it is LOUD... when idling sounds like a 2 stroke with a really deep tone..if you ever heard a big gun when its nailed its sounds like that just barely turning the throttle haha i got tired of it quick but most race core exhausts are loud just some louder than others Q

I totally agree . Ive never heard any quad exhaust as loud as the cobra on a 300ex. To bad they make less power than stock . Ive still got the muffler in perfect condition. I never had the heart to sell it . I think I will take it out a crush it with the dozer.

Thats about all that cobra's are good for. People tell me that sparks pipes are pretty loud, but I haven't gotten mine put on yet. I also like loud pipes, but it all depends on your riding area. I live out in the middle of nowhere where none of my 3 neighbors care how loud my quad is. When I do go riding other places I always run low rpm's to keep the noise down when I'm around houses.

Yoshimura!!!!!!!!!! Deepest rumble out there. Hmf couldn't cpmpare to a yoshimura. The power is THERE.

You keep telling yourself that while stock 300exs smoke you.;) Also guys you all need to be thinking QUIET! Not loud. The last thing this sport need is some more punk kids on a loud quad pissing people off. Before I put my HMF on I asked all my neighbors if they would care or not, they said no but I got the quiet core anyways. For the quaders sake, think quiet!

I like a nice deep sound, not like blast your ears out, just a nice, deep and smooth purr, like a kitten!

Ya, i took off my pipe to polish it, and i started it up quick for a few seconds, to see what it was like. That thing rattled my eardrums, literally!

HMF has a nice rumble, loud but not overly loud. Great power gains too, my buddy has one. I'm going to get a Sparks x-4 for my 300, when i get my truck payed off. Heared they were one of the louder pipes, but sounded good.

I kinda want the comparison of a 400F 426F 0r 450F DIRTBIKE exhaust. Those engines and exhausts produce the throatiest sound, and I love it. I want that sound amplified 2x louder. I love loud throaty exhausts.

You had a slip on probably? The hmf sucks. I've had both and i've ridden on a hmf slip and full on a kfx. The yoshimura does sound better than the hmf.

the white bros. pipe and silencer kit is ridiculous when it's open. Sound like open headers on a car, or when a rig uses the jake brake...BRaaaaaaaaap........Braaaaaaaaaaap...Braaa aaaaaa

The yzf's and such, sound like they do because of their motors... not because of their exhaust. Your 300ex will never intimidate anyone at the track, even if it is loud as hell! You want a good sound you have to get a quad with some displacement. A short loud pipe on a 300ex sounds like crap, and is more annoying than a cr80.

your the first person that ive ever heard say the HMF sucks. i love the sound of my HMF, ive got a slip-on with a sparky in backwards(facing inward) and it sound badarse!

Actually mine sounds like a mx bike.I run a custom exhaust with a oversized diameter headpipe that gets bigger in stages.One reason i made my own is because every exhaust system available for the 300 uses just about the same size header,a bit larger than stock but not enough flow for a 400cc machine.Almost all slip ons are carbon cpoies of one another but the headpipe is where you make your money.With my setup and lightened c/b it revs like a mx bike.With gobs of torque i almost cant shift fast enough,it comes on the cam similar to a mx bike.So just because its air cooled doesnt mean it has to sound like a utility quad.:D

what ever you get dont get a HMF they sound like a duck my friend has one i just bought and made my atv (250ex) as loude as possible cuz im in the country so it doesnt matter and the piep is a FMF megamax there inexpense and u have tunable disks and u can make it super loude! with a very nice broad powerband to so i would go with the FMF megamax 1 hey pm me on wut your choice is
