alright so i got the screw that holds the lever out, the 2 that are holding the butterfly plate on, but how do i get the rod out? the online article about it says something like remove the clip, but i see no clip. all i see is a rod that goes through the middle of the carb and a black round thing at one of it's ends. how do i get the rod and black thing off?

thanks

do you really notice any difference removing the choke? or is it not worth it?

ok i didnt want to wait till tomorrow so i went out in my cold dark garage and got it all buttoned back up. i only rode it around enough to get it warm and did a couple short, maybe 1/2 throttle sprints. i did notice an increase in power, not much, but definatly worth the time. i might bring this thread up to give a full report when i go riding this weekend
