THEY ARE ABOUT THE SAME PRICE BUT THEY ARE STRONGER AND WILL PROTECT THE SHIFT SHAFT UNLIKE THE ONE IN THE FIRST PICTURE AND THEY COME IN RED, BLACK, SILVER.

i like that design better my self, having busted plenty of cases there on my 250r's, plus i dont think that little bit of machining will make it any weaker. its prob stronger since it ties into the shifter. thats a good looking piece.

i never quite understood why they call them case savers.............it's been my experience (on my old 250r) that these things only cause your case to be busted.

threw my chain one time, and busted my case where the "case saver" bolts in.

i'm not so sure these things are a good thing.

but, then again, there is no other alternative.

J-H case savers seem to work the best (wrapping around the shift shaft) i haven't seen a case busted yet that was using one.

I also like the bladwin ones too.

it looks ok, but ill buy the one with the shaft protection over any of them. i have had to replace/machine/weld up cases from it busting the part that the shifter shaft goes in.
