i have a 2005 honda 450r i am adding a stsge 2 jet kit to it i have a fmf factory 4 slip on pipe to it so far if i went an changed the front and rear sprockets to maybe 2 down in the front and 2 up in the rear what will be my outcome or should i stick with one down in the front and one up in the rear p lease help :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

i think you would have more bottom end.......

i think 2 down in front and 2 up in the rear will be way to low gear for you. thats like going 9 teeth bigger in the rear. all your top end speed would be gone. 1st and 2nd gear would probably be unusable. try maybe just 1 tooth in the front only.

one tooth in the front will be about 7 or 8 % lower geared. should be enough. My bro in law did that to his and said it made a noticable difference. of course you could go out and get a yfz and solve all your problems:)

a yfz huh well i have no problem beating them now with my quad so that wouldnt solfe any of my problems at all ...... lol
