not to sure. i've heard of some ppl Engine clear coat paint. i thought about trying it, Sand the arm up real good smooth it out with some steel wool. paint it even and let it dry to touch then sit it in the sun.. not to sure of the turn uot wanted to see what it would look like.. my a-arms are rusty on the bottom from trail riding.. sticks and crap smack the under part and make it look like poop so i guess it would do the same painted... take the paint off and rust....

Powerdercoating stock A-arms is never recommended!! It melts the plastic bushings in the ball joint!:ermm:

I've powdercoated my stock a-arms, and as long as you know what you're doing, you don't have to worry about baking the bushings or dust boots. Idk how much of a pain it would be to polish them and get them powdercoated clear, but it's prolly more work that it's worth.

make sure to use plenty of wd40 when ploishing... makes the job go by faster. the only time ive had clear coat turn yellow is when i bought the cheapest pos i could find, if you go with a good brand it turns out good and wont change colors.
