Well it came off the stand today. Just a few more things and it'll be ready. Waiting on TCS fronts, finish up the exhaust, clutch cable, jetting, and lil stuff like that. It was a fun build, but time consuming. Ready for the next one now. Here are some pictures.

Wow man, thats a nice bike. Have you ever thought about doing a KTM520 build? Thats the first hybrid ive seen with a sparks woods pipe.

Is it just me, or is the powdercot on that frame pretty screwed up?

-Mx Wow, thats what i was thinking, dont know why I wrote sparks. Ive seen the ad in dirtwheels, but ive never seen it on a quad. I wonder how much it restricts with the power going to it in that machine.

When I bought the pipe I didnt realize it was the woods one. I got it from Harold Goodman so who'd of guessed. I started it a bit ago and it is pretty quiet but I didnt ride it any.

The powder coater did burn the frame up by the a-arms, that's what you guys see. I did all the orange powdercoating myself though, and had i known he was going to mess up the frame he would have never got the job.

I have to make some radiator shrouds also and find somehow to tie it all together with some graphics on the rear fenders.

The YZ feels faster but the CRF is more mellow and has more useable power. The YZ wears you out faster also.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Yeah it is Maier plastic. The hood fits good. It is a quadtech.

I sold it today locally.....$6500. I need it for about another week to finish things up and adjust/tune everything. Now i'll be running aginst it at local races.

Best and cheapest thing to do is buy the whole bike and get what you need and part everything else out. work it right and you'll end up with 1000 or less in a motor.

Also a good thing about this is that you can look at the bike and tell how it was cared for which will tell how the motor was cared for. Also you can ride it and check it all out.

what graphics are those? where did u get them from?

You must lose alot of money when you build these. You cant be making a profit for 6500 unless you got some badass connections. Bike is beautiful.
