Ocotillo Wells? Superstition

Hey when is your next ocotillo trip i got a 450r for xmas and we go all the time. I think we are going out the 15th of April

Hi- Thanks for the warm reception to this site. This will be our lasty trip to the desert for the season. It should be tanks top and riding shorts weather. Still bearable though. Where do you ride?

I ride gorman, pismo, glamis, rowher flats, el mirgage, wild wash(off the 15fwy), going to stoddard soon.

Sounds like you ride everywhere. Want to go to gorman. Will probably wait until next season. Planning on going to pismo in june

i was there March 18-19-20 then again March 26-27th.


Were going this Weekend leaving fri night and might camp by Blow Sand........so far that seems to be the plan..

Going to split mountain the 15th. Camping up past the gypsum mines . Wish I was going this weekend but daughter has a softball game & I am the coach.:)

I was just at Octotillo Wells two weekends ago. I took my kids to ride their little 50's. I didn't get to ride much, but they had a blast. Plus they loved the shaved ice and can't wait to go back.

Thats cool. My son has a 110. He is 8 and boy does he love the desert. That shaved ice is pretty good! :)

Well is was windy as Hell,, Damn sand storms on Friday night when we got there......So we sleeped in the car, then saturday was a bit windy but ok.....Sunday was a Great day and there sure was a whole lot of People there i was surprised.

Now we are going to Gorman this weekend.

Went out to el mirgae sunday. Weather was nice. Nice low wind nothing bad.

The weather is suppose to cool down a tad. We are going to split mountain road down by the tracks and 3.5 miles in. R u still going to Gorman?? Packing up the motorhome right now!

We might leave Saturday Morning since i might work friday night....So far its 4-5 of us.

Well if you see a 05' Red 400Ex with a guy wearing a Yellow helmet thats me, also in the group will be a black 450r and a 500 polaris silver.....im not sure what the other s have but i am not that hard to spot with the yellow helmet.....lol

sound good I will keep my eye out I have a 05' black trx450. My husband is easy to spot as he has a 350x threewheeler. Also, a 300 ex and my son has a yellow 110. (yellow helmet also) lol

Has anyone been out to Ocotillo yet? I think it might still be a little hot to ride, but I'm getting anxious. If anyone's been there recently, let me know how the weather is....Thanks!

`My friends went to octillo last weekend They said it was about 85 degrees. We are planning to go out oct. 14th can hardly wait!!

hey guy's i'm in cali too. tulare to be exact. i've been trying to find other places to ride other than pismo and glamis. i have a 5 yr old that likes to ride his raptor. but i don't know of too man other places to ride besides glamis and pismo. any help is apreciated..

Anywhere you go, you're going to have to drive. Have you tried death valley? Joshua Tree is fun to ride for kids. That's probably the closest places to you.
