alright guys i am looking for a name or any other information on a remote controlled truck from the mid 80's i am thinkin it was called the claw or something along those lines the truck had tires with claws that would come out when you pushed a button thanks

I HAD ONE!!! MATTER OF FACT I STILL THINK I DO! YES ITS A TRUCK! THAT GOES AND ONCE IT COMES TO A HILL OR SOMETHING OR THE WHEEL LIFTS UP THE WHEEL OPENS INTO A CLAW!

Yeah I used to have one too. I had it in the early 90's, so it wasnt the Grappler maybe, but it was the same idea; it had the tires that opened up into a claw. Never really seemed to be quite effective at climbing up things it ordinarily couldnt however.:p

But still, it was a fun toy. Man, they dont make them like they used to, thats for sure. Most of the toys today are crap, with the exeption of some RC's. They used to be all metal, at least most of them were.

There was a series of trucks in the mid 80's called "The Animal".....it was a truck/s that actually had animal looking claws come out of the wheels when it started to lose traction, not remote controled though.:cool:
