Clutch cable real loose

I just put in an EBC clutch kit with heavy duty springs on my 400ex. And now my clutch cable is really really loose, to where it wont engage or anything. Do I need a new cable, or did I do something wrong?:confused:

If you can move the clutch arm by hand pull the cover back off and check the lifter rod it might not be in the right place, or could be broke, The lifter rod broke on my 400 a couple of months ago had no clutch disengaugement.
