How much can a new yfz be bought for?

Just wondering what a new yfz450 can be bought for in or around Ohio. I've been looking at 450r's, z400's and YFZ 450's and I'm beginning to think that the dealers in my town are d!cks because all of them said they will only sell at MSRP. So let me know what you paid for yours and where you got it.

i got mine in madison indiana for 6700 it lists for 7200 it is the 2004 s.e.(or l.e. cant think)they sold it to make room for the 2005 modles i hope this helps but most dealers only sell for msrp good luck and i hope you get a yfz

No thanks.... I'm looking to buy something new I have an 01 400ex now and I want to get into racing and I dont think the 400ex's will really compete now with the 450's without a lot of engine work and even then I would still rather have the 450 becuase it is liquid cooled.

How do the Z400's compare new 450's either honda or Yamaha I had a z400 and loved it but I just trail rode with it and I havn't rode a new Honda or Yamaha yet.

Where was this at? If you can't find anyone else I will buying something here in about a month, and I think it's gonna be a yamaha. But I think that is just B/S they are just pressuring you into buying two or finding a buddy that wants to buy one too. Im sure if you only needed one and told them your not buying it unless they give you the price that they quated you at they're gonna sell it to you at that price.

a lil over 5800 is dealer cost thats helpful knowledge when the dealer trys to screw you around alot of the time theyll be like are cost is 6200 im giving you a deal, just turn around and say no i know what dealer cost is

Mine was $9800 Canadian with the taxes . so $8299 + tax ... and I got a DEAL . Retail here in Ontario is $9799 +tax .

Pick up a cycle trader, I have seen them for 5999.00 in Ohio. Some are about 6200.00 with no hidden fees, but you have to pay tax.

Dude save yourself the hassle of fooling with stupid lying dealers and go buy a used one and save a grand. In a local cylce trader here there was an 05 SE with nerfs for like 5800 from a private seller, that means no tax, set up fees bla bla bla........ so no BS! i hate dealers! plus you can get a bike in just as good shape as new for a grand less.

It all depends on the rider..and the ability of the quad..:rolleyes:
