quick ? about silencer packing

does it matter what kind of silencer packing i get? will packing from other companies like big gun or fmf work on my e-series? also is there one kind of packing that is better than others?

i need to order stuff tonight so any one who can answer quickly please do

it does not matter who the packing comes from.i have used fiberglass packing from the hardware store.you know the kind that is used for wrapping pipes in cold weather.its a lot cheaper($3) and does the job.you may have to repack 1 or 2 times a year but you should do that anyway with any packing.you have been enlightened my friend.no longer are you in a dark sea of ambiguity.take this knowledge and run with it..:D :D

when i did it i went with silent sport packing. i was told it was better but a little more expensive. i think it was only like $12 or so.
