Rockers are in bad shape but the valves are not bent and dont run funny.The cam is a stock 400ex,with minor scaring but still works fine.cam $30 rockerbox $50

when you say rockerbox do you mean the cylinder head or the valve cover?..thanks

Your posts leave me confused every time. The rocker cover (valve cover) ONLY has rockers; NO valves. If the rockers are trashed throw them in the trash and take the cover to recylcler. Bad cam journals as you described in the other post will wear the cam and bearings out.
