Is my helmet suposed to do this?

I have an hjc helmet with removeable liner. When I take out the liner the foam moves inside the hard shell. Should it do this?

I have only had it for 1 year. If its bad i'll never buy another hjc. I only had one crash on it and it wasnt very hard either. The helmet seems fine untill I took out the liner to wash it and the foam just moves freely.

ive got an hjc too. how do you tell if you can remove the liner? i'm not sure if i can, but i need to.

The liner is three pieces. You can tug on the foam by the straps and it will unsnap on each ear side. the largest piece pulls out above the gogles by your forehead. I have the cl-x4 if that matters.
