I've been looking at this for a while and i was wondering how much gain a DYNA really gives you? i dont want to pay $330 for a 2 hp gain. Keep in mind i'm runnin a 250r. And another thing is there some one you could just send it to to have the Timing curves programmed for you so you dont have to buy the programemer? Is this only a good product for nitro burners and air shiftters?

well I don't currently have one but on my last 400ex I had one and let me tell you HOLY S**T battman. Best ignition I have ever used. You can have dyna, duncan, or another retailer for Dyna program in you ignition map(you tell them mods and how/what you ride) or you can knuckle down and make your own ignition map(it's not hard but takes time).

I personnaly would buy another one but I won't get it till I am satisfied w/ my motor. I will get a Sparks box till my motor is done.

just go with a ignition setup from a 97 and up cr250.ESR makes a adaptor plate but you can get a set up pretty cheap on ebay.im not sure about a 250r but a few years back i knew a guy that bought one of those adjustable ignition for his kx250.all it did was make the motor wind up faster on the start setting and ran like a dog on the other setting.he thought it was a waste of $400] the cr setup helps out the 250r

We have never tried the Dyna on a 250r but have opne on our banshee and it made a huge power increase. The tunablity is really cool too
