price difference and qoutes

Ok so Ive been looking at getting a 450r (never thought it would happen)

and ive been hearing all this info on 05's and that there crank's fail or somthing if this is ture why dosnt honda recall them

also ive been shopping around and in central nc (raleigh area) my 2 main dealers have given me qoutes

trianlge cycles has given me a qoute on an 04 of 6420 out the door 6000 b4 taxes and crap

team powersports has given me a qoute of 6500 for an 05 and could do better

im really open ended and may still get somthing else just wondering what you guys have to say

also on the topic of reusable oil filters what do you think? good or bad

never used reusable oil filters but thats a pretty good quote on the 05 its right around what i got mine for. You will love it and i think only some of them have crank bearing problems cause mines just fine with pry like 5-6 hours on it.

I got mine for $5800 out the door at Ricky hendrick honda in Charlotte. I'm coming up from Charleston, SC this thursday to pick it up. I can't wait!!!

saylor honda altona PA, 6400 out the door on a 05, the bearing pro, my two cents is thats its opp error.people change the engine oil. but forget the trans. and you have to double check the oil alot. thousands are sold , handfull had problems, you do the call, 25 hrs on mine, not a prob. and i run it hard.

and that guy is OTD prices hes based in canada and shipping is like 200 so you can get an 05 for 6200 basically

if you dont mind driving a bit theres a place here called abernathys that has 05's and 04's going OTD with fees and all for like $5800
