do i need new shocks?

i want to get new +2,+1 a-arms,and the ones i want say they are both standard travel and longtravel ,but some people told me that i need new brake lines and new shocks because it is wider,i have stock shocks in it right now,and i dont have the money to buy new ones,so i was wondering if what i heard is true or not? thanks for your help!

if you get +2 a arms...you will need longer brake lines and most likely aftermarket shocks

may i ask why i need new shocks?

you can get +2 a arms that use stock shocks, but most of em will need aftermarket ones. and for the brake lines, if you have enough slack in them(like i do) then you DONT need new ones.

if i setup the shocks for stiff as possible,will i still bottom out?

Yes, probably on most stuff. The stock shocks are valved for the stock width a-arms. If you get wider a-arms, the stock shocks will be much too soft, due to the wider a-arms they are supporting. It causes more leverage on them.

i want new a-arms because i have spacers right now,and eveyone keeps sayin there crap and that i should just get extented a-arms so thats why i want new to get new ones
