i just got a 05 450 and ordered a hmf ballance pro full system. I sway to hmf quality and price and customer service. had the system on my 400 and was excellent. cant say enuf about there systems. Do some research and check dyno charts you'll probably find hmf comes out top.let you know in a couple of days when i get the system and jet kit on the bike.

Go HMF my friend.....one of the best pipes you can buy. I wont buy anything but Sparks or HMF, i've had lots of good luck with both pipes on 400EXs, Z400s, and 450Rs that I've personally worked on.....

yoshimura pipes are amazing...expensive but i sure know why. the fit ill give a 3.5 star out of 5 because we had to basically bend it into place. that was for the 400ex though and nothing fit right. so far everything for the 450r is perfect so you shouldnt have a problem with yoshimura. they have a nasty rumble to them to:macho
