Thanks

slip on. if you do get a big bore then i would just buy the fmf powerbomb header, it will mate right up to your slip on

All slip-ons do is make it louder. If you actually want some performance get full exhaust. If I were you, I'd get the full exhaust system.

Do slip-ons add performance. If they dont't add performance i want a full exhaust.

you apparently have no idea what your talking about. i would edit that post or the name "300ex-boy" and "idiot" will be synonymous.

the only thing i can think of that would hurt it is that if you forgot to put on the exhaust alltogether. that would probably fry the exhaust valves. or so i've heard :scary:

i would get a good full exhaust from the get go that suites your riding style. i would consider something larger than the fmf powerbomb header unless you plan on staying stock or ride woods and want mainly low end power.

Dont make the decision to buy a slipon just because you are going to keep your motor stock for awhile. That is stupid. If you can affoard it, research your decision and invest in an full system. You will save your money by not having to buy a full system when you do motor work. They will overpower a slipon, too. A full system will not damage your motor, even if you have a leak. Slipons do add power, but not like a full system and are not the value a full system is in the long run.

hey 04'400ex'er i see in your signature you have a polished hmf full exhaust i was going to get the same pipe but for my 250ex i was wandring if you could tell the difference with the pipe like could you pop wheelies better or anything like that

it doesnt matter which, both will be an upgrade from stock.my buddy races gnccs and he runs the 440kit,cam etc.he used to run a full WB system but he like the stock headpipe with a HMF because he has more torque with the stock headpipe.go figure.so every application isnt gonna work for everybody.i would get a slip on if thats all the money you feel like spending.the slipon will be able to "grow" with your motor as you do mods along the way.dont listen to these other clowns, you can get some bad info on here..:D
