Any major engine builder will sell you the kit. FST, GTThunder, Sparks, Powroll, etc. Bradley300 says you can get a 350 kit from GTThunder for not much more than a 330 but they have to bore the cases.

I got mine from FST. But make sure you get a cam too. Just a bore alone isnt that great, the cam will compliment the big bore.

the bore will do next to nothing without cam, porting, and high compression

yeah, the only cost between the 330 and 350 is the cost to bore the cases- about 30 bucks i think. i reccomend gthunder

Yea, the bore is will not do anything without all the other stuff. Porting is a very good idea on a 300ex, because the head is still a 250X head. It was originally built for 250cc's, now you going to bump it up to 330. I did a mild port on mine by myself, but I would suggest a professionally done full race port. I wish I would have done a more agressive port and polish and a stage 3 cam instead of stage 2. But oh well, it still has a TON of power. I like it better than any 400 with a pipe and filter that I have ever ridden. It's small, so its easy to handle and it really pulls you through the gears. Most of my buddies have 400ex's, raptors, and 450r's, and none of them have ever out- climbed me (except for the 450R but that was just one time, lol). If you can't run out and buy a 450, then I would definetly reccomed putting in a 330 kit, or you caould also get a 250r, gotta love those things. But if you like me, you are not allowed to get anything faster, so you have to make the 300 fast. I kinda have the best of both worlds, because I am getting a beat up 250R on a trade for my paintball gun :D .

TC, Powroll, Megacycle, White Bros, WebCam and maybe Sparks.

Oh, lol, I'm only 15. I got mine from webcam, but I know sparks makes a cam for the 300. They said they have a big selection, I don't believe that, but maybe they do.

I love my 300, and i'd like to race the sport class, so i'm going to stay on it. I've been checking out the FST 330 kit. It comes with piston and rings, sleeve, cam, heavy duty valve springs, and i think maybe rockers too, but don't quote me on that one. Its around 850 bucks, which sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

Hey bradley, how much did all the engine work GT Thunder did on your old 300 run you total? Just curious.

i sent laz a blown motor (ran w/o oil) so it cost me quite a bit. i got a new hd clutch, rod, rebuilt crank, case machine, timing chain and guids, a bunch of heli coils for the side covers, all new gaskets, full race port, 3 angle valves, pistion kit, sleeveand labor, i'm sure there were more parts. but all that cost less than 1600. alot of that was the crank that you wouldnt need. i say for the price, a 350 is the way to go. and laz designed it so its a true 350cc, maxxed out for the sport class
