Since the snow is starting to melt up hear in Minnesota I decided to get my 450 out of winter storage and ready for some spring riding. Unfortunatly, this thing really flooded. The motor turns over, but doesn't fire. The spark is good, and I've put two new plugs in it and it keeps fouling them. I did put fuel stabil in the gas last fall, but my past experiences say that the stabil shouldn't affect it. I've delt with flooded motors before, but this one is pretty cranky and I am open to any suggestions, thanks

check to make sure there is not a rats nest in the air box.
then i would put new gas in the tank and make sure the fuel is turned on. check the kill switch make sure its on run to.

tap on the carburator bowl with a socket to make sure that the float is not stuck and rushing tons of fuel in!!

I took the carb apart and cleaned and put some fresh gas in the tank. It started right away. The float was probably stuck. The conditions in Minnesota should be good to start riding in about a week to a week and a half.
