I live in northeast ohio and I cant seem to get rich enough. I am currently running a 52 pilot 190 main and the clip is on the lowest position on the needle. If you look inside the pipe it is more of a greyish color rather than black. what am i doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated

If your using good race fuel your pipe won't be black because it burns clean. But if your not I'm not sure.....but that jetting sounds very rich in a FCR carb. I think mine has a 45pj 175mj

Yeah, with race fuel....you're pipe will stay a greyish color. Mine does with my motor and I have the same mods as you minus CRF ignition and porting. I dont have a FCR either but i have some experience with them and that sounds VERY rich for FCR jetting for a 450R. You need to go back down I think, you shouldnt worry about being lean. You can run a 4-stroke a TAD bit lean and it wont hurt. As long as you dont have lots of back-firing on de-acceleration....you're fine.

Are you guys running air box lids with the jetting that you have posted? Im getting ready to install a fcr carb on my 450r & need a starting point on my jetting. Thanks!!

If your running a lid on your air box try somewhere around 120 or 130

I finally got my jetting right. I am not running an air box lid. I have a 180 main 52 pilot last clip on needle and the air fuel screw out 1 1/2
