i have an overflow at least i think it is that comes out of my carb right next to the fuel screw, when i screwed the fuel screw out 2 and a half turns it leaked like crazy if i left the line down. i dont know if thats a vent and suposed to be up and it runs fine when its up or if its suposed to be an overflow and its not working right.

It sounds like your float is sticking or the seat of the needle in the bowl needs to be cleaned. Remove the bowl, clean the seat and check at the float is moving freely.:)

mine was doing the same exact thing.UNless i was hard on the throttle the overflow poured out gas andi couldnt ride it at all. when machine was off a steady iver of gas flowed thru. I was at MX practice and i flipped and since then it hasnt dripped at all, even if i let it idel or i leave gas on all night not a single drop......hmmmm

fuel screw is on the bottom, the float drain screw in on the side. both are flathead screws.

is the fuel drain on the side at the very bottom? and the fuel screw actually on the bottom, like to get at the fuel screw you have to come from the bottom of the carberator to work on.
