Chain Problem, PLEASE HELP!

Please Help ME!!!!! My chain will not tighten, i have tightened it before without a problem, but it is not wanting to move at all, anyone had this problem?

sure all the allen bolts are loose and your turning it the right way?

might just have to slap a pipe on the allen wrench and give it hell.

I wouldn't use the pipe method on the carrier, it is aluminum and some people have broken off the tabs.

It may be time to remove the carrier to clean it and the inside of the swing arm.

If your carrier is moving but it will not get any tighter its time to remove a link. Or just replace the chain with another o-ring or x-ring chain ;)

the adjester may be out all the way on the 400ex there are two lines when they line up that means that is the maximum adjustment.

when you go and tighten the chain, maybe when you put the allen wrench to loosen the bolts, the turn the lever, it is as far as it goes, so then you will have to replace it with a new chain, the old chain is worn out, and check to see if the seals in it rare gone, or some of them are missing. It has happened to all of my friends before, either take a link out, or replace the old chain with a new chain.
