does chrome hold up on head pipes? i wanna do sumthin to my stock head pipe casue it looks all ugly and i want it to have a polished look like my silencer, heat shield, and cases or if i cant get the polsihed look will that exasht high temp black paint hold up good?

you can get it ceramic coated. I just did mine with a chrome ceramic

Chrome is gonna turn blue your very first ride. If you wanna keep that chrome look, go with Ceramic coating.

columbiacoatings.com I did mine myself. You need a way to cure it. talk to pappy, I'm not a site sponser or else I'd do it for ya

wow, thats weird, i was bored with the rain and tornadoes, took off my head pipe, green scotchbrite pad and some never-dull and now my headpipe looks kick-as*, almost crome, it polished up real well, painted the heat sheild high temp black, it looks really good for stock. if it only turns blue, i'll be alright with that, i just dont know what the red clay and mud will do to it when its hot. in 3 months my head pipe was - [georgia red clay]. its good enough for now until i get a aftermarket system. i'll try to post a pic, if i can figure out how to.
