neck brace

Hey do you guys wear neck braces because i don't see many with them. I always wear one. My uncle is paralyzed after breaking hi neck. I was wondering why people don't use them.

Both of my sons wear them when they are racing :) along w/ all the kids on our race team actually!! The reason being is just for safety, we don't see a whole lot of people wearing them BUT I do see MORE wearing them than a couple yrs ago!
My husband & his family all raced boats & they ALWAYS wore them maybe thats why our kids wear em LOL

It's a good safety practice so don't let anyone tell you any differnt ;)

seems like a damn good idea to me, i wouldnt care what it looks like, i say wear it.

we have to wear them in drag racing.. but only if you are racing on a bike that runs faster than a 3.7 i believe,,, the fastest ive ever seen a bike run was a 3.55 and that was from a triple cylinder bike:)

how bad does it restrict turning your head side to side?

not bad, you can still move you head around...It might sound weird but its for your colarbone to keep the helmet from hitting it in a wreck and breaking it but i guess it helps ur neck also..but its made for your colarbone

I got one From "six six one" And I love it! Will Never ride with out it! I got one because I crashed in a whoop section and got whiplash!
