I was thinking of getting 22x11x9 and 23x7x10 holeshots for my banshee but they were $260 for just thenset, and I dont have that kinda money right now...

I was looking at a kenda klaw front/knarly rear setup. They would be the same size as the holeshots. Would they do well in mud and rocks? I will be racing harescrambles at haspin if any of you have been there to give you an idea of conditions. Also, a set of the kendas are only $180.

Any opinions? Thanks!

I would get the kendas before holeshots anyday, even if the holeshots were cheaper.

Knarlys are awesome. Much better tire than the holeshots by far. They do well in mud and I've heard they are great in rocky areas too.

We have a set of the Knarlys, hoelshot fronts and MX klaws(all four) and I have to say the knarlys are very good in muddier conditions, GREAT traction but softer compound than the klaws, also I dont feel they corner as well as a klaw does, but they have mad traction . Both area very good tire IMO.

Klaw/Knarly XC- Awsome combo. Very predictable tire, plus they have a very atractive price tag!

I ran my new 22x11x9 Klaws in the NC GNCC, and I did not get stuck in the mud once. I smoked a clutch in the process tho.

Note to self :When running 22's in the mud go down 1 tooth on front sprocket.

Which Knarly is the "XC" version? Nothing on Kenda's site has the "XC" tire....is it the regular K535 Knarly?

The K535A is the Knarly XC and is available. This is the tire I helped develop last year.
