just rebuilt my 426, pipe is glowing red and if i try to rev it hard it will die i don't run a lid altitude is about 200 feet above sea level any help would be appreciated

Need more info, What all is done to the quad,What pipe,cam or air box lid on?

I would say around a 175 main,42 pilot

make sure you move the needle clip to the 4th position. i would recommend a smaller mainjet, but that is just me.
