I have a stage two hotcam, but this is my second season with it. I just set up my top end and thought I had the valve lash right. It's ticking really loud, much louder than before. Does that mean that the lash is too big?

I know they say you should have slight drag with the feeler guage when setting the lash, but should it be tight enough that you can't get the next size feeler in without forcing it? Thanks in advance.

Could the exhaust tappets possibly need to be re adjusted?

yea, you shouldn't be able to get the next size in unless forced, if at all. does it only tick at low idle?

yep, when adjusting the valves just make sure the bike is cold (not been running) and make sure you set the bike on TDC.
