how many turns out should the main air screw be ? its the one in the back of the carb .

start with 1 turn out. that screw is for the pilot air bleed, not the main.

you are talking about the one under the houseing for the air filter tube right ?

right. that adjustment mainly effects the pilot circuit at higher rpms, like on a high speed decel. and if you change the pilot more than 2 sizes, you should adjust the screw accordingly as in the chart 1 size.

ok . the jet beside the adjustable screw has 200 on it . but thats not on the chart . also does anyone have a washer inside there accelator pump assembly on top of the spring ?

the 200 jet is the main air jet, there's rarely a need to change it. the screw is for the pilot air jet. that chart is for this and shows the approx. turns that equal the fixed jet size. one turn out is a good start. most of the aftermarket fcr's have the washer under the spring, you don't need to run it though. the pump will spray slightly faster with out it.

I set that at two turns out on all the carbs that leave here. THe diaphram is $15

hey colby , is there any advantage in running the accel. pump in the richer setting ?
