450 axle

Will a 450r axle fit in a 400?

I took my 400ex axle and 400ex carrier ( RPM ) and put them in the 450r i bought and it fit but the carrier is 1/8 longer so there is some space near the caliper but its not a problem.

if you want to swap axles you need the carrier that goes with the axle to get the chain aligned right.
