I now this question has been asked but I want to make sure... My friend and me are having a disagreement...It own who will take who off the line and who will pass.... He has a raptor 660 stock and i have a 400ex-motor is stock too. I think the 400 will take the raptor off the line and stay ahead for a little bit but then the raptor (having tons of top speed) will pass me slowly because of it top end power.... what do u think??? just wondering- thanks

Rider skill has the most effect on that outcome by the way. Also if they're both stock the raptor will win.

Isn't the Raptor known for having low end torque as well as the EX? If he can hold the front end down I think he'll easily get you off the line and down it as well.

sure, the raptor stock for stock probably would win. but for being 260cc's more than the 400ex, it doesn't win by THAT much.

well i ride with a piped kfx and i had a piped raptor and i beat him by 3-5 quad lengths. and now on my 400ex i beat him by 2-3 quad lengths

I have a stock 04 400ex my friend has a stock 03 660 raptor. We have lined them up and he takes me off the line and pulls away easily.

If you want to know for yourself, race him.

thats excatly what happened to me i raced a raptor stock and even my 04 400ex is stocked and i smoked it from the start just not the top end
