View Full Version : wantin to shut off in turns

my quad seems to be wanting to shut off when i pull in the clutch in a turn.. i will be on the gas hard, and then pull the clutch in to apply brakes and down gear, and it acts like it wants to shut off? any suggestions?

I am pretty sure that you have a 300ex, but what mods do you have? I could be a carb/ pilot jet issue.

it idles fine, but i may have it idling a little low, do you think i should adjust the idle higher and then go see how it does?

I would idle it up and if that didn't work, I would check all the lines and make sure the air/fuel is set right.

mine was doing the same thing so i raised the idle a little bit and it rode fine
