400ex numbers

i recently bought a new 04 400ex and was thinking it would be a good idea to record all the numbers (engine # vin # ect.)

I was wondering what numbers i should record and where i can find these numbers on my bike. i think this would be some important info to know in case my bike got stolen.

one number on the frame in back of the bumper,on the motor by your shifter on a square ,flate place on the motor!!

the vin is inbetween the front shocks on teh frame
