If you were going to buy 20" rear tires that would be run primarily on rocky motocross/GP style tracks, which ones would you buy:

ITP Holeshots (standard, not MX, HD, XC, etc.)
or
Kenda Klaws (they would have to be the 6 ply klaws, because the 4 ply klaws only come in 18")

I would go with the Kenda Klaws even tho ive never had both of those tires ive heard that the Holeshots wear out kinda fast and like you said the Klaws would be 6ply so they would probably be your better bet.

Jeff:
Why the Knarly's over the Klaws?

Because they are a better XC type tire. Excelent in the rocks!

How are they on a more traditional type motocross track?

I've always used itp holshot xcr's and I dont think they wear out quick at all. Most of the people say itp's wear out fast because of their mx tires, but the xcr's and mxr's are different rubber compund. I would go with xcr's over maxxis or kendas.

Thats not exaclty true!

Those ITPS are all 6 PLY as well, The ITP HD is an amazing tire.

I run Maxxis razr2's And they are ok, But i have also ridden with claws and ITPs, and As far as rear tires go The ITPS seem to hook up the best of any tire out there IMO.

The claws are ok, but seem to break loose pretty easy, and they have alot more tire roll, than my ITPs ever even thought of.
