is that one of those carbon fiber/fiberglass composite type helmets?I could use a really really light one considering it helps my neck/shoulder because of my pinched nerve

If there was a good difference that would be good. They are like 3 times as much as my hjc and they meet the same standards. Its hard to spend that much money also if they say to buy a new helmet after every time you head takes a good hit.

QuadRacer041, this was the 400ex that was parked next to you at last years spring rausch ride. You may remember now. Yes I was the kid that got helicoptered out due to being stupid and not strapping my helmet. I learn my lesson. NO more stupidity hospital visits for me. !ALWAYS STRAP YOUR HELMET!

There is only one brand of helmet that I'll ware and that is an Arai.
One of their helmets saved my life and my ability to walk so that's what I stick with. Just remember you get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for..... here's mine a lil dirty, the green, white, gold,, brown, and red are all metalic, once the sun hits the helmet they glisten in the sun and really look good.

It's funny to me that it seams like most of you only bought the helmet you have because of looks.

Looks are not going to help your head when you crash.

CHAR250R, yes I did that's why that all I wear.

I'm pretty much an HJC man myself. My current one is a CL-X4 "Effect". Good solid helmet, both DOT and SNELL approved of course.
