Theyre usually WAY too much money and theyve all been heavily raced. Probably not a good idea.

I wouldnt say its a bad idea racers usually take care of the motor and other things better than a regular person. Yeah the frame and stuff is going to be beat but you can buy one that wasnt raced and still be in bad condition. I would look around find one you like and make a deal. You might even get one cheap if they dont want to haul it home. my 2 cents

most are WAY too expensive for what you are actually bying...look in your classifieds at the gas station in the wheels and deals mags

Usually the best bikes hands down are off racers or really anal people aka clean freaks etc. Racers usually do matience every 2-3 races while normal people usually maybe 3-4 months..

id only feel comfortable buying a race bike off a racer...they take care of there stuff the best out of anyone and last time i was at a nationals they had race bikes from 8-14000 which is average depending on the quad.....you can look in your local paper and find beat up stuff with parts from the late 80s fro 3 grand or under but not a national level race quad, some are beat a lil but you have to use your judgement

how much are you willing to spend on a tricked out 250r?

3,500 wont get you a quad at nationals....your gunna have to ditch out $8 g's +.....anywhere up to $18,000....

They are all great quads, just be carefull who you buy from, and look the quad over because race quads can be beaten to death...But usually racers who travel the GNC circuit have nice bikes....well taken care of..
